Kia Ora Everyone,
I am Joyce and this is a little insight into who I am and what has led me to GRG.
I hail from the North, born and educated in Whangarei but with ties to the Hokianga.
I am the mama of 4 children ranging in age from 32 to 17 years (my 17 yr old daughter was whangai'ed as a newborn) and I have 4 beautiful grandchildren.
My work history has been in social services in NZ and I have worked for organisations including WINZ (or Social Welfare, as it was known), Kainga Ora (or Housing NZ, as it was known), NZ Police Corrections.
I have taught Equine Assisted Therapy and coached riding for neuro diverse children
Been a Teacher's Aide
Worked as a Youth Advocate for an Alternative Education Organisation
I am looking forward to getting my head around the IT side of the role and am committed to providing the best support I can to our members. Nga mihi Nui.
