Jacqui Phillips - Interim Advocate - Financial
Jacqui has a work history across the public sector and social services in project development and management, youth education, careers and personal development, support and advocacy services and disability services.
Jacqui runs an engineering and diagnostics business with her husband and has experience in business development, compliance, finance and marketing.
Creating positive outcomes for others has been a focus of Jacqui’s mahi professionally and in voluntary roles.
Jacqui has been Support Group Coordinator for Palmerston North- Manawatu Grandparents Raising Grandchildren from 2018-2024 while raising grandchildren herself and has raised tamariki as a foster carer. In 2024 Jacqui joined the GRG Board.
As a board member, Jacqui has offered her services to GRG in taking on the Advocate role due to Tricia Corin retiring. She brings a great deal of knowledge to this position, specifically with her background at WINZ and her firsthand experience as a support group coordinator and grandmother.
