Anne Doddrell – Pukekohe/Waiuku
My husband, Richard and I joined Grandparents Raising Grandchildren nine year's ago and have two grandchildren we are presently bringing up, one for almost ten years the other so many days a week for eight years, this past year full time.
I am the coordinator for GRG Pukekohe/Waiuku, meeting for a coffee morning on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Each year I man a stall in the Pukekohe Age Expo and again at the Community Networks Franklin Expo to promote and recruit Grandparents/Whanau who are bringing up children.
For several years I have sat on the executive committee of Community Networks Franklin, which is a collective of Social Services available to the public.
For years we were both heavily involved in live Theatre and Country Music, but these days are filled with the enjoyment of kiddos becoming teenagers.
