Lynda Robinson - Hibiscus Coast
Kia ora, my name is Lynda Robinson.
I’ve spent most of my life on Auckland’s North Shore and moved to the Hibiscus Coast 23 years ago with my two sons, who are now adults. Neurodiversity is an important part of our whānau story, with my eldest son and two grandchildren living with autism.
My background is in mental health, most recently working as a Family Coordinator for an NGO, as well as serving on the boards of Shared Vision and the Lived Experience Advisory Council (LEAC).
Six years ago, my two grandchildren came into my care. During that time, I received wonderful support through some challenging moments, and I’m now looking forward to giving back and supporting other grandparents and whānau caregivers in our community.
I love living on the Coast and enjoy beach walks with my dog, along with the many crafts and activities our amazing community offers.
