From brushing up on parenting skills, to updating technology skills, to the influence of social media, an important part of our work is to ensure our grandparent and whanau caregivers have access to relevant education and training programmes.
These include parenting and learning workshops and our Summits, which provides an opportunity for ongoing fellowship and learning.

At our
2016 Members Summit, Mind Over Manner held a powerful workshop for our field staff, support coordinators, and members.
Mind Over Manner's workshops are about
"Realising the Potential for Differently Wired Minds", which is a reality for many of our caregivers raising children with cognitive processing differences.
It is a specialist workshop series designed to engage and develop communication capabilities of those who learn, think and work differently, and is also particularly helpful for caregivers in their own communication with children, young people, and adults.
