COVID-19 Our Response
| 3rd March 2022 FREE rapid antigen tests now available for home testing. Rapid antigen tests can be ordered through a new website and picked up from a collection site. If you are symptomatic or a Household Contact, you can now order rapid antigen tests (RATs) through the newly launched RAT requester website. Our Outreach and Advocacy Team is able to assist you and a direct referral to one of our advocates can be made via our 0800 GRANDS (0800 472 637) helpline service.

- 0800 Whats Up? - is Barnardos’ helpline for tamariki and rangatahi in Aotearoa. It’s available free nationwide, for children and teenagers to call or chat online with one of their counsellors. Call 0800 942 8787 or Chat with them online

Support for Children and Young People in Foster Care, Oranga Tamariki Care, Whanau or Grandparent Care
- Voyce Whakarongo Mai - Connects children and young people in care with advocates and trusted adults to help them have their say. During the VOYCE’s phone line is open and their Kaiwhakamana are following up advocacy requests via phone and online. VOYCE – Whakarongo Mai is also continuing its outreach to caregivers and children in care via phone and preparing a steady stream of virtual tuhono connection events to keep tamariki and rangatahi atawhai engaged and occupied at home.
